About piece: “Dividing 20s” 
 
This is a vibrant piece that I have created to encapsulate the experiences of being in your 20s. Being in your 20s is one of the most tumultuous years of your life. A time where life has its curveballs and hurdles to get us to grow. A period that is both isolating and freeing! In this you’ll see both two turtles and a whale. These show the change and growth from starting the journey as a turtle changing and learning as you progress to a whale and to end the 20s being you in your most authentic form. I also wanted to portray the divisiveness with one side being blue and the other pink and the path through the middle. You’ll see both symbol work and detail work to showcase the changes, the detail of every moment. Then through the path you’ll see different details of circles these reflect the journey, the memory and the core of every changing period of your 20s. This period is where life makes you be you and prepares you for the future. I know the 20s can be soo hard and thrilling it changes you soo many times and shows you how to be shameless in your body and self worth. But to have this optimism for the future.
