About piece: “Identity” 
 
These pieces are a contemporary piece that tells the story and journey of find and developing your “Identity”. Through the piece I made sure to tell the journey of finding who you really are. It dives into the aspects of finding your “identity” through the deep dark parts of you and the brighter aspects of you. Being as transparent and open to diving into all the versions of you. For me these pieces dive into my queer identity as well. Without diving into your “identity” you don’t allow yourself to be open and allow all the rush of emotions from your life experience to teach you lessons. Enduring and understanding that you are re experiencing everything over and over until you find parts of you that teach you the bigger picture. Whether that be learning or unlearning feelings of pain, happiness, sense of self determination, inter generational lessons and questions to ask “who are you?”.
