A series of 13 pieces I created to talk about self-discovery. But also showcases the journey of this path and how it shows the true colours and nature of ourselves. With each piece it is unique, and it has its own story and detail that only that piece has. I intended on doing this not from a means of creativity, but I wanted to use my intuition to let whatever flow onto the series. I didn’t want to sketch anything because it would feel forceful. By intending on using my intuition it leans on the story of self-discovery, this is how the journey starts. We allow ourselves to be free within our self-expression. With each piece I did small detail work to show the story and intricate detail of life. The journey then changes from one time to another. With various animal designs on the larger pieces to show growth of finding our true unique identity. With the smaller pieces focusing on the journey of self-discovery. I have some tradition symbols to represent my grounding to culture.  Whilst using both bold contrasting colours to compliment with the cooler tones of the blues.
