This piece has got both a lorikeet, bottlebrush and tradition symbol work. With both section of green to represent nature and blue representing the sky. I wanted to create a piece about this specific title. Because I feel we continue to live to dim ourselves for other people and have anxiety about what people think. I myself have learnt and continue to learn from this. But it really is what creates a barrier from being our true authentic self. We need to shine all our colours bold and brightly to other people but most importantly to yourself. Be the best and authentic you, never be apologetic. I chose this colourful creature because it embodies the beauty of colour but the representation of beauty when we are colourful is when we admire it. So I encourage through this piece to shine brightly and never dim your colours.
