This piece is my interpretation of the sunset kissing the ocean in an abstract form. I wanted to create an interpretive piece. So I did this vibrant piece. This piece has whale tails coming out the ocean each with a special design and layout. With gold circle and line work to represent the interconnectedness of each journey and moment to be present for each sunset experienced by the whale. I broke down the sunset through each individual piece by using one colour from the sunset and did another for the next pieces. I used purple, pink and orange as my visual representation of the sunset. Which I contrasted against blues to represent the ocean.
