"Divine Voices"
What will 2022 bring?
“Art is a way of recognising yourself and each other".
I am beyond excited to share this very special commission I recently completed with you!
Commissioned by a youth centre in Adelaide the piece is a whopping 2.6m tall ad 30cm wide. With sculpted crocodile teeth and eyes I am so happy with the realism of its form and the representation of my art.
I believe each person has a colour and a story
Watch this space!
The piece is specifically titled "Divine Voices" as it represents the voices of our youth and inspires the next generations to be heard. Our youth are crucial for the survival and continuation of our vibrant and ancient cultures. Each voice is unique and speaks to the individual experiences that make up our modern world.
The reason I chose to make this piece so colourful is because of the journey of each person that sees it and feels represented in it. I firmly believe that each individual has a 'colour' of their own. With each detail to represent the multitude of lessons and perspectives we all face I hope to inspire people to choose their own path and share that with the world. Be creative, logical, inventive, scientific, empathetic and bright!
